As PR & Events Manager for Claire's Inc., I launched the North American experiential division, reporting to Global Head of Press, Claire’s Europe.

Core areas included: concepting, budgeting, coordinating and attending all events, press days, and launches.
Wrote and fielded press releases and media alerts. Built effective working relationships with internal business areas and key external media suppliers.
Executed effective PR and events strategy to drive brand awareness and value. Included press releases, media inquiries, influencer outreach, press kit production and trend spotting while coordinating with corporate European team.
Coordinated and managed projects and campaigns to ensure effective launch of events - including festival pop ups, runway shows, flagship opening event blogger events, Fashion Week activities and celebrity events.
Liaised with buyers to obtain product information and samples. Coordinated, organized, shipped and displayed samples for press agencies and events.
Planned, managed and executed PR campaigns, look books and press materials. Assisted and supported the head of PR & events with preparation and production of brochures, advertorial photo shoots, models, props and suitable locations.
Tracked the approved PR budget alongside the head of press.
Provided sample products in a timely manner, ensuring that they were received and returned.
Daily correspondence with media, answered inquiries via telephone and email.
Ensured press agencies are kept to date with media alerts and the key seasons strategy.
Maintained successful working relationships with key media, bloggers and endorsers. Built and maintained effective working relationships with key partners across the business with an emphasis on Buying teams.
